Emu Bottom Homestead, Sunbury
A beautiful Autumn day was transformed into a Spring time party at Beth and Adam’s April 11th 2015 wedding. Beth and Adam said their ‘I Do’s’ at the rustic and romantic Emu Bottom Homestead in Sunbury. The very trusting bride left the groom and groomsmen to decorate the ceremony and reception spaces and they did not disappoint! Beth chose a beautiful rainbow coloured bouquet for herself and her sister and bridesmaid Juanita. We had a lovely afternoon spending time with and photographing Beth and her family. Beth’s long lace gown and waterfall veil were very elegant and romantic and were perfectly matched to her antique styled jewelry and accessories. Adam and Beth’s ceremony was very personal and touching and highlighted not only their love for each other, but also their strong friendship and respect for each other as individuals. One of the highlights of the ceremony was the tying of a Fisherman’s knot, started by Adam and finished by Beth, signifying the strength and endurance of a happy marriage, as well as the need for partnership and support between a couple. Following the ceremony we stole the happy couple and their bridal party and moved around the homestead to capture some very fun and romantic snaps. We love working with couples who have ideas of photos they would like taken and one of our favourites from this wedding was Beth’s idea of the bridal party running away from a terrifying T-Rex! The reception again highlighted the friendship that has grown between this pair in their 5 years together. There were a lot of laughs during some wonderful speeches by family and friends and some great fun was had on the dance floor. We thoroughly enjoyed being a part of Adam and Beth’s special day and hope that their love and friendship continue to grow for many more years to come.
