your wedding day, you can remove them from your list.

Most photographers only cover a certain area. Make sure you discuss the venue and location for portraits with your photographer.

3. What is your photographic style?

Every photographer has their own style – and it needs to match the style of wedding photography
that you re after. Before you engage with a photographer it is a good idea to have a look through some
examples of their work either on their website or social media.

It’s important to know who will be the one actually taking photos at your wedding. Ensure that you get along with the photographer as they will be spending most of the day with you at your wedding.

5. How many camera people and cameras will there be on the day?

More photographers can mean different angles and perhaps more photos. Ensure you know how many people will be assisting on the day.

Many photographers offer a wide range of services, but even those with set packages can incur hidden costs if you change your mind or want a little extra. Ensure you discuss the cost in full with your photographer.

Most photographers will enhance and edit photographs. This generally includes brightening the photo, bringing out the color and fixing skin blemishes. Talk to your photographer to see to what extent this is done.

9. Can I see some examples of your recent weddings?

Ensure that you have seen recent examples even full weddings that the photographer has attended and photographed. This way you know exactly what type of photos you will receive.
