GREAT WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY STARTS WITH BEING COMFORTABLE

Getting your photo taken on your wedding day can seem very daunting (especially for guys),  it’s more than likely the first time that you have had professional photos taken and probably the first time that you have ever been “posed”. Being comfortable with the person taking your wedding photos is absolutely key in getting great photos on your wedding day. We’ve all seen those posed and unnatural-looking photos, the photos where you can tell the couple are uncomfortable. I pride myself on making sure that what seems like a daunting, awkward and uncomfortable thing – getting your photo taken – becomes one of the more memorable parts of your wedding day. I want you and your partner to have a great time and walk away excited to see your wedding photos! I’ll help you to smile your natural smile and make sure that you look like you in your wedding photos.

I believe that the key to great wedding photos is being comfortable. Both you being comfortable with me as your photographer and me understanding what makes you smile, what makes you laugh, and what will get the best photos on your wedding day. When you are able to be yourself in front of the camera, we will get natural smiles, candid moments and everything in between to give you a great set of wedding photos.

I’ll make sure that by the time we get to your wedding day, we know each other well, I’ll be a part of your big day and not just a stranger that rocks up with 2 cameras. To do this, we will be in contact many times before your big day to plan all those little details in regards to your wedding. From timeframes to wedding photography locations we will have a plan. We’ll have a practice run – an engagement shoot that gets you and your partner comfortable with the process. We’ll also meet up in person as many times as you need (I love coffee) to make sure that your wedding day, is captured your way.
